Job Description
Title: Family Engagement and Colorado Multi-Tiered System of Supports Coordinator
(COMTSS)
Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and related parent engagement experience. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
Reports to: Assistant Superintendent
Evaluated by: Assistant Superintendent
Job Goal: Coordinating and supporting the Implementation of COMTSS and Family, School,
and Community Partnerships (FSCP) to support historically underserved or placed at-risk
students' experiencing academic and behavioral challenges.
Time Frame: This position requires a flexible schedule to meet the needs of families/guardians
and students. This would include potential evening and weekend hours and travel.

Responsibilities
- Implement the Alamosa School District Family, School, and Community Partnerships (FSCP) Road Map
- Implement and facilitate Colorado Multi-Tiered System of Supports (COMTSS) across district
- Lead district COMTSS District Implementation Team work: Participate in pre-planning, facilitating, and debriefing C-DIT meetings
- Attend various trainings and FSCP Communities of Practice
- Support school level COMTSS implementation by building the capacity of School MTSS
- Coordinators to grow as leaders in their buildings
Compensation
Per teacher's salary schedule plus eight days before school begins and eight days after school ends.
