POSITION DETAILS:
Role: Full-Time Front Desk Customer Service Rep
Location: Alamosa, CO
Pay: $17.00 - $29.95 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with at least one closing shift (10:00 am to 7:00 pm) per week

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Our Front Desk Customer Service Rep is the face and voice of our office, working closely with behavioral health clients and team members to support positive outcomes! We're looking for someone who can show up every day, maintain an awesome attitude, and jump in to help wherever possible. You'll handle customer service responsibilities and general administrative functions for the team (filing, data entry, faxing, ordering office supplies, and more). Always pleasant and professional, you'll communicate with clients, answer questions, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
Attentive to detail, you'll verify Medicaid coverage in our system and call insurance companies as needed. You'll obtain proof of income from the clients, determine their financial eligibility, identify their sliding fee co-pay, and collect payments. Motivated to do your best, you'll also jump in to cover shifts at our other offices when needed and help out with additional responsibilities as assigned (updating staff mailboxes, creating no-show letters, checking out vehicles, scanning medical documents, and more). No matter what you're doing, you'll strive to show up and give your best for our clients!
OUR IDEAL FRONT DESK CUSTOMER SERVICE REP:
- 1+ years of customer service or secretarial experience
- Ability to treat coworkers and customers respectfully, pleasantly, and professionally
- Ability to independently recognize and respond to others' needs
- Ability to use general office equipment, including computers, copiers, phone systems, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to complete general errands, light physical work, and travel out of the office as needed
