Acute care Hospital Facility

Major Medical Center in Alamosa, Colorado is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead and inspire a diverse team across Plant Operations, Environmental Services, and Grounds.

This is a full-time, permanent leadership role offering competitive compensation and relocation support.

Position Highlights:

Salary: $87,800 – $122,000 annually
Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance available
Lead ~45 dedicated professionals across multiple departments
Oversee facility operations, utility systems, construction projects, and maintenance
Ensure regulatory compliance with NFPA, OSHA, EPA, CMS, and local codes

Ideal Candidate:

5+ years of personnel management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Ensure compliance by outside contractors with all regulatory agencies and hospital policies and procedures.
Inspect machines and equipment to conform to operational standards and ensure preventative maintenance occurs on all systems and building as scheduled and according to manufacturer’s recommendation or best standard.
Acknowledge and follow up with customer and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Ability to lead strategically and solve complex operational challenges
Willingness to relocate to a thriving rural community
