TITLE: AHS/OMS Choir/Guitar/Music
Looking for a qualified, enthusiastic applicant to teach Choir & Guitar classes at Alamosa High
School and Ortega Middle School. Other course offerings could be developed based on teacher
Definition
knowledge, skills, experience and student interest.
A staff member responsible for directly delivering the curriculum and providing instruction for
students.
Qualifications
- The teacher must be appropriately certified and/or licensed as a teacher in the State of
Colorado as provided by law or pursuing Alternative Licensure.
- Licensed staff must be qualified for the area or grade level in which they perform, meeting
Colorado Department of Education accreditation standards. Ready endorsement preferred.

AHS and OMS Building Principals

Terms Of Employment
- Number of teacher days assigned annually
- Salary per current ASD Master Agreement

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Board's policy and procedure
for evaluation of certified/licensed staff.
