Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a critical access hospital, requiring dual competency in both Med-Surg and Emergency Department settings with active ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
Details
- Critical access hospital setting requiring the ability to work in both the Med/Surg and Emergency Department (ED) units
- Average daily census of 17–18 patients
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:00–06:30
- Every other weekend requirement
- On-call requirement: 2 call shifts per month, covering days or nights depending on unit needs (05:00–19:00), for either the ED or Acute Care unit
- No floating requirement
- Medication system: Pyxis
- Documentation system: T-System
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Comfort and competency working in both Med-Surg and ED settings required
- Critical access hospital experience strongly preferred
- Must reside within a 1-hour radius of the facility to meet on-call obligations
Additional Information
- Candidate will rotate between the Med/Surg and Emergency Department units based on facility needs
- Any time-off requests must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment for manager approval
